There’s something truly magical about witnessing a family grow over the years. Each milestone, each new addition, is a testament to the love that fills a household. In the fall I had the pleasure of photographing the Scholtens family, and it was a session filled with warmth, joy, and a sprinkle of rain.
One of the things I adore about my job is being invited into families’ homes, where the their lives unfold. For the Scholtens, this meant capturing their family moments right in the heart of their own haven. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted with smiles and excitement, especially from the kids, who were eager to show me around their yard.
They have three girls and just recently welcomed a little boy. The girls have so much love for him and he will definitely be loved and cared for his whole life with those sweet girls around. Nestled in his parents’ arms, he was peacefully asleep throughout the outdoor session, unaffected by the gentle rain that graced us.
