This past summer, I had the chance to photograph a sweet family at one of my new favourite locations—Paletta Mansion in Burlington. I truly fell in love with this spot. It’s hard to find beautiful places down by the water in our area, but Paletta Mansion checks all the boxes. With stunning views and gorgeous surroundings, it looks incredible in any season—spring blossoms, lush summer greens, colourful fall leaves, or a snowy winter backdrop. This location is always a win.
During our session, we wandered the grounds and found so many beautiful spots to stop and capture some memorable moments. We had fun running, playing, and getting those candid, genuine smiles that I love so much. The best part? Ending the session in the water.
I absolutely love when parents are up for letting their kids splash around without worrying about getting wet. Those moments often turn into the most loved photos—full of laughter, movement, and pure joy. Plus, on a hot summer day, what kid wouldn’t love a chance to play in the water at the end of a session?
